Nature can often be a cruel place; especially for animals at the bottom of the food chain. The comic strip below is based off of a narration of Our Planet, with David Attenborough.
When planning this piece out originally, I had a bit of trouble choosing a style that fit my usual way of drawing things, so I decided to step outside the box and create something that wasn’t as serious or realistic. I found that it was an interesting juxtaposition to the relatively depressing story of a group of lizards being hunted by some snakes. Overall, I enjoyed working in this type of style.
