Red Riding Hood is a classic fairytale, and because of that, there are many different renditions of the characters. The challenge for this piece was to tell the story of Red Riding Hood in an original way, while also using a limited color palette.
This piece’s lineless style and color palette were inspired by a point and click style adventure game called Night in the Woods. This game’s style is known for its vibrant color schemes and simplistic drawing style in order to focus more of the story of the game itself. I personally really enjoy the look of the game, and I use these types of color palettes in my work to this day.
